Harry Potter and the Goblet of Survey Responses: A Study of Virtue-Based Typology Within the Field of Librarianship Using a Universal Personality System
We decided to research the drive and motivations of our field by using an easily identifiable self-categorization tool: the Hogwarts Houses, as defined in the Harry Potter universe. This session will discuss our motivations behind this topic, outline preliminary conclusions from our survey, and delve into some associated topics that must be considered as part of this research process, namely: what does it means to be using an identification system outlined in an inherently problematic author?

Lightning Talks: Creating OER: Learning from Librarian and Faculty Collaboration, Creative Commons - Four Icons, Six Licenses, It's Easy, Poster Session: Missteps and Mayhem Bringing a New Elective to Life
Lightning Talk: Creating OER: Learning from Librarian and Faculty Collaboration - Join a librarian-faculty team as they share their experience working to create an open anthology. Discussion will include tools used, planning and collaboration strategies, keys to success, and challenges faced during this process.

Lightning Talk: Creative Commons - Four Icons, Six Licenses, It's Easy - Creative Commons (CC) licenses provide creators an easy way to define how other people can use their content. The 6 licenses, identified by combinations of 4 icons, allow material to be used without worry about copyright infringement, as long as the rules of the license are followed. However, the relationship between CC and copyright is often misunderstood. I will explain the 4 icons; how they combine into 6 licenses; how the licenses work with copyright and why CC:ND licenses are like cactuses.

Poster: Missteps and Mayhem Bringing a New Elective to Life - This poster describes the attempt at introducing a new Immersion Elective for freshman medical students as part of the spring 2020 semester.  Setting/Participants/Resources: Two faculty members from the health sciences library at a public medical school combined talents to present an eight hour elective for up to eight freshman medical students to choose as part of the spring semester Immersion 2020.

Analysis of Chat Conversations between Two Semesters after the Implementation of New Electronic Services at an Academic Health Sciences Center
Library chat queries changed between the Spring 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters. During the Fall 2018 semester, the Library implemented two major services. Researchers saw trends associated with these services reflected in chats. Analysis examined how the frequency of controlled terms applied to chat transcripts changed before and after the services' implementation. The terms associated with the new services showed a dramatic decline in frequency. An association is strongly suggested.

How did COVID-19 impact use of library resources?
In March 2020, COVID-19 forced libraries to close their doors, and shift to an online-only support model. This study measures changes in use of library resources during the COVID-19 closure at LSU. Data points considered include website, discovery and catalog usage, ILL requests, e-resource downloads, patron inquiries and more. Did COVID-19 lead to leaps in the use of digital content, online learning, and virtual programs as hinted at by an ALA survey? Find out with us.

Exploring the Value of Communities of Practice in Academic Libraries
Communities of practice (CoP) have demonstrated value as a way for group members to elevate their subject knowledge, solve problems by working together, and also to create new knowledge. The Community of Practice concept has been used in LOUIS in communities, such as the System Administrator community, and academic libraries have benefited from utilizing CoP in both library services and professional education to increase the value of services academic libraries provide.
